Fair Practices Commission at the WSIB
The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has created an organization called the Fair Practices Commission. The role of this Commission is to offer all the parties involved in a claim (injured workers, employers and service providers), a place which they can complain about the treatment they receive from the Board.

The Commission is independent from the Board and it will treat every complaint in a neutral and confidential way. It will have the power to investigate and to make recommendations in order to change or improve services at the Board. It will also publish reports on the Board’s activities.

The Commission started receiving complaints as of April 5, 2004. For more information visit the Commission’s web site at: www.fairpractices.on.ca.

You can call 416-603-3010 or toll free 1-866-258-4383.
